Ontario Minimum Wages as of October 01, 2022 to Sep. 30, 2023:

General minimum wage: $15.50 per hour
Student under 18 minimum wage: $14.60 per hour
Hunting & fishing guides minimum wage:
- $77.60 Rate for working less then five consecutive hours in a day.
- $155.25 Rate for working five or more hours in a day whether or not the hours are consecutive.
Homeworkers wage: $17.05 per hour

CPP Rates & EI Rates for 2023:

In 2023 the new Canada Pension Plan maximum pensionable earning will be $66,600

• The basic exemption amount for CPP is $3,754.45. The employee and employer contribution has changed from 5.70% in 2022 to 5.95% for 2023.

• The maximum CPP employee and employer contribution are $3,754.45 and the self-employed maximum is $7,508.90

The 2023 Federal Employment Insurance employee premiums have increased to $1,002.45 and the employer premium is $1,403.43

• The EI new rate is 1.63%.

• The EI annual insurable earnings have a maximum of $61,500
